In these small group settings students learn by attempting and analyzing real AAMC passages under the guidance of one of our exceptional tutors. Each student also meets regularly with his or her own private tutor in a one-on-one setting. All learning is thus personally tailored to each student in a way unrivaled by any other program or system. We've also replaced giant review books filled with rote recitations of facts and formulas with a proven system of conceptual, interactive study. After six years and well over a thousand students, the average MCAT score among all Altius students has consistently remained in the 32-33 range. That is approximately one and a half standard deviations above the national mean--and that is only the average score.
